So, I decide to take a vacation. A few days off. Where do I go? To friggin California and what happens? The whole damn state turns into a swimming pool. So instead of a vacation, I got to take calls in another state. There was seriously nothing else to do, it was raining just to much. Crazy I know. But there you have it. This has got to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The way the water holds it’s shape at first then expands like tiny diamonds. It’s incredible. Come to think about it, I don’t think I have ever had a call where someone was into water balloons. I wonder if there is someone out there that is. Did you all hear about the Balloon hunt? I would love to go hunting down these huge eight-foot wide red balloons. It kind of reminds me of this awesome thing that we did in school one year. There was a fundraiser and for every $5.00 or $10.00 (I can’t remember exactly the amount) you raised you got one balloon. Inside the balloon we put a form that had our school information and teacher’s name. So many big beautiful balloons were released at once, and the one that went the furthest (as confirmed by whomever found it and called in about it) won some sort of prize. It was very exciting but I wanted to burst those balloons, but I knew they had to go. We did get o see some that got caught in the trees and went POP. Our balloons weren’t that big though, that would have been even better.

Aren’t these just gorgeous?  I love each and every one of them.  I want them darn it!  It’s amazing what artists can do with time and a person who will be still and careful long either so none of their art breaks.  I wonder how you get to model these things. I am gonna have to look into it.

Another thing I enjoy is taking a fully inflated balloon and rubbing my feet on it.  To me it feels like a massage.  I love the pressure, how it sounds, how it feels, the way I sometimes pop then by accident and scare the crap out of myself.  I do this barefoot sometimes, and sometimes with socks.  Right now it’s with socks because it’s been seriously COLD, already, what is UP with the flippin snow???  Stay warm and keep on poppin!
