Oh, I love that pic that Jenny posted of the bursting balloon.  That is sooo cool!  Have you seen this one though? Ok, so I did something yesterday afternoon that I haven’t done in a long time – I went for a walk in the rain. Kinda corny, I know, but there’s nothing like a stroll in a warm, summer’s day rain shower.   I had forgotten how much I enjoy it.  The way the rain falls silently on my face; the way my wet clothes cling to my body; the way the air feels charged with energy, sending a tingling sensation throughout my body; the way the water splashes up my legs when I jump into a puddle.  Not a bad way to spend an afternoon I’d say.  Ah well, maybe next time I decide to go for a leisurely stroll in the rain, I’ll bring one of my big balloons along for some extra fun *wink*.

Hi again it’s me Carrie!  Yes, you know your out there and you know i’m talking to you…my fellow “looners” .  Yesterday my friend and I went into this party store you know the kind with like tons of different balloons for birthdays, celebrations,holidays whatever the occassion.  Anyways, yeah it was cool cuz we were like getting so hot looking at the balloons and imagining what we would do with them.  Needless to say we bought a variety and yeah did we have a super fun night.  Wooooo awesome times~

I was trying to figure out when my love affair with balloons first started. I think I’ve always had one – at least as far back as I can remember. My mom once told me that I’ve always loved balloons, even as a baby; that they have always mesmerized me. She used to always do something special with balloons for me on my birthday. One year I woke up with about 50 helium balloons and their streamers hovering over my bed. Another year I woke to find my floor completely covered in balloons. In addition to whatever the balloon “surprise” was, the house was always covered in both helium and air filled balloons. I used to love to run through all the streamers hanging down and twirl around in them until I was enveloped in a sea of balloons.  So as I got older, I believe it was just a natural progression to incorporate balloons in my life in “other” ways *wink*. I guess balloons and me were just meant-to-be .

I love the summer time.  And do you know why? Balloons of course silly *smiles*.  I was at the pool yesterday and saw a beautiful young girl riding an alligator float.  She was so pretty, bobbing up and down on her wonderful toy.  She wasn’t alone though, oh no, she was with her boyfriend.  He was trying to push her off the alligator, and he would swim underneath her and push the float up in the air, creating a bucking bronco action.  I sat there watching them, behind sunglasses of course lol, for a very long time.  I was so turned on that I went back to my house and had some floatie fun of my own.
